Siliken

SILIKEN is a group of growing companies offering industrial solutions for renewable energy markets such as photovoltaic and wind power. All of our products are in-house developed and manufactured in our manufacturing facilities that are located worldwide and equipped with modern production technology.

SILIKEN began its activities in June 2001 by its founders Carlos Navarro, Gonzalo Navarro and Alfredo Puche. The company was created as a result of concerns about current energy and environmental problems and its first activity was the production of PV modules. Our work has made our company dynamic with continuous growth targets and committed to the complete integration of clean renewable energy in our society. This approach has made us a reference in the PV industry.

In 2005, we created Siliken Electronics to manufacture DC-AC grid connection converters for photovoltaic plants, which underscores our drive for integration and constant growth.

In 2006, the company created SILIKEN CHEMICALS, specialising in the production of trichlorosilane and electronic grade silicon aiming at self-supplying the Group with the raw materials necessary for the production of the modules.

In 2008, two new PV module production plants were opened in Tenerife and San Diego (California). These plants complemented the Rafelbunyol, Pobla de Farnals (Valencia) and Casas Ibáñez (Albacete) factories. Our production plants cover a surface area of more than 40,000 m2.

Since 2008, the company has branches in Toulouse and Avignon (France), Rome and Milan (Italy), Berlin and Frankfurt (Germany) and San Diego and Carlsbad (USA).

By founding Siliken Solutions and Siliken Energy, we have complemented our activities, which now include turn-key installations as well as promotions working with investment funds. Furthermore, Siliken Automation was created in 2008 to manufacture our own machines and production lines.

In 2008, eager to continue developing renewable energy products, Siliken created Siliken Wind. The goal of this new company is to develop low-power air generators that are very robust, efficient and require minimum maintenance.

Currently, we are in the midst of an international expansion process and are preparing the vertical integration of the entire photovoltaic solar energy production process for manufacturing electronic grade silicon, wafers and photovoltaic cells.
